Hi folks
Looking to know what size of tyres to put on slabs. There is 195/50 on which does not rub but want a lower profile
I think 195 looks a bit wide and sits out past the rim a bit. Would like narrower tyre with a low profile.
I am sorta after lowest profile to put on them as nova is lowered 60 and still sits high on 15s
195/45/15 ;)
found 165/50 would they stretch over. have a smaller tyre wall and then being narrower give that stretch look to the shoulder
Depends if that's the 'look' you're going for? if it's a daily drive and will be driven hard i'd go with southies suggestion.Quote:

Have i heard of anyone putting 165's on slabs? no. Plenty of dubbers do it on 6-7 inch rims though.Quote:

bear in mind stretched tyres will break traction far easier that ones of a normal size for the rim width.
not too worried because wont be seeing any track action just daily driving with the odd "private road " race but very rarely see hard driving
find it that nova never rally look low, always low on the wheels but with high ground clearance. so the extra 5mm less tyre wall size will help a bit, i hope lol
