a 2.0 Zetec with all ancilliaries can be picked up for £150. Bear in mind that to fit the BC/IB5 gearbox to run in a Fiesta/Escort etc the flywheel clutch and sump need swapping for the 1800 items.
He went C20XE because you can do the clutch in situ ;D
also fitting a 5 speed to the mk1 means cutting thee n/s chassis leg.
yep but well worth doing. A Zetec on carbs with a 5 speed box would be spot on in a Mk1 :thumb:Quote:
