Nova SXi banger to budget rebuild minter!

I swapped this a few week ago for an old banger. it has a few problems but im gonna fully strip it and rebuild it so ill sort them all out on the way.
Heres a few pics. This is how it looked before i got it. It looks pretty good in this pic, apart from the sh!tty sideskirts! but the paint is bad in person lol

it had some awful RAGE buckets :tard: in which were bodged in which i cut out and sold staight away for £100 and i went and bought a full red and grey SRi interior including dash with red heater conrols for the same price! ive put the seats in for now as im using it till my corsa combo van is tested.

So this is how it looks now till i strip it.

Its got a few bodges which ill put right and the skirts were badly fitted. whoever fitted them cut the lip off the back arches and let the rot get in!!

Did it used to be black or has the inside been painted black ?

Stupot is meant to be coming at the weekend for the Willians Harnesses and hes bringing me a full set of standard seatbelts and a pair of front wings. ive got a gsi frontbumper and another standard rear as the exhaust is cut into the one on the car and i dont like it.
BUT, i have 3 pairs of mk1 wings in the shed and 2 sets of mk1 bumpers, old style with the grille and bumper in one. i dont know weather to mk1 the exterior, what do you all think?

No its been painted black in the boot,

Yeah im thinkin more that way, ive got an old MK1 too you can just see it in the 5th pic. Its a pretty tidy D reg rollin shell. that i was gonna use to re shell my sport but im gonna sell the sport bits now. When i find them! Logbook, Chassis number and vin plate, carbs, inlet, airbox, i think thats all i have left of the old sport

Its gonna get 2 rear arch repair panels and 2 front wings, The doors are really Mint! not a bit of rust on them! i think it'll be gettin a complete front panel too then a bare shell respray. The Brother in Law has his own Paint and Panel shop and lets me work there when hes got space. He does top notch work too! Darren Early Paint and Panel,
