Cheers Graeme, If Id have sat on it I wouldnt have it done for this year hence why I started almost straightaway. I am considering doing the hard boost pipework and the thermostat housing too in the same grey. Then once the servo and bailey tank which Ive done grey too are fitted everything will come together nice and subtle think. Or Im hoping anyway!! lolQuote:

Nick, quality work as always, really like th little touches your adding mate, i also think greay boost pipes etc.

Yeah, i couldnt believe how clean it was when i went to pick it up, the lad that i got it off was a valeter, and polised it every weekend, even in some place (around door handles) he had polished down to the primmer.

Check out my mk1 Jamaica in my sig, i want to get the bay as clean as that pic of your old SR, but im not sure if should just remove the engine and clean the hell out of it, or try steam clean it with it in etc, or get the engine out and respray the bay??

If you have the time etc i would take the engine out, give it a very good clean, then if it need painting do it....
