Gaz front Coilovers, 300lb front springs, and rear shocks Arrived today!

So I fitted the rear shocks (top bolt tight, bottom bolt loose until I refurb the springs)

Cleaned the rear springs, However I think they will need sandblasted and re-painted!

And gave the rear calipers a coat of Silver, Will fit them when I've got some new pads.

I havent fitted the front coilovers as i'm waiting on some new concentric alloy top mounts that I ordered today.

boooo I wanted slammed on its ass pics from tonight!

Not just yet! I thought the springs would be ok, but I've ran them in my GTE rep since x-mas and the powdercoat has started flaking off, so they'll need blasted and painted :( More bloody work!!

Thats a difficult one to answer.

On one hand - After a refurb, the paint will only come off anyway, and they'll rust again.

On the other hand - Everything else in there is now clean and painted, so they'd look out of place rusty.

Fit them, order new ones and then when you get them fit the old ones to the GTE rep

Well my last car was never in immaculate condition, but i found that though the more you try to make it "perfect" the more things you find your not happy with and take/spend more doing it etc, hence why with the new one it's track car as IBA to get into the silliness of making it too nice as i wont keep it in good nick for long lol

It's looking really good now though Keith,so keep on ploding on.
