What happened Austin!!! Saw you do one run up the strip today... The commentator was getting all excited about your car then.... well you tell me, it seemed to move around a lot and never got going (22 sec pass???) The car looked FCUKING cool though. I reckon you were going slow so everyone could get a look ;o)

your telling me!!! i thought you had forgot about us
whooo best loon ever award goes to....
Hello Austin great to see an update...how did you get on with the rear beam? And did you like the corsa bias pedal box?
Top work as usual!
this nova is ace i love this saloon me!!
Good work fella. Tis an awesome car!
The beam seems all good, but so far i've only driven it up the stip, and thats it! I had some modified 7-style coilies on the back which wern't ideal, but that should all be sorted this week.
The front knuckles seemd to give it insane bump steer, so no good. Was all over the shop on my one run!
Didn't even get to test the breaks as I only went 40-50 tops!!
Seems like the pedal box should do the job..but only got piddly brakes on it. I did by some KAD 6-pots, but they didn't fit unfortunatly...would have been nice :(
I wanted to hide the master cylinder, so bias box with those type of master cylinders was teh only way..
Had some cooling system issues as well, but made up a bleed for the back and one off of the thermostat housuing along with a new header tank, so thats sorted now. I'll have to get some pics of that.. Always forget to take a camera up the workshop..
this is the new project...propper rotter but love it.. edit....that 3 replacemnet arch lips on that side!
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...8.jpg~original
Don't know what to say... stunning, one of THE best saloons.
looks awesome mate +1 for you top work, always loved this project
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v1...8.jpg~original
that would scare most people but i know youve got the skills to turn that into something beautiful
yea top work done on the loon there looks awesome :thumb:
Love this nova long time
excellent build spot on loving the colour.
keep up the good work.
Looking great Austin.
Out of interest why did you remove the reverse taper knuckles?
I have heard people say they can be problematic....
He mentioned about feeling excessive bump steer.
Interesting, i did exactly the same when i fitted my ones.

I take it we are talking about the inverted ones you were doing for a while rather then the rose-jointed ones of recent?
Toe change was huge between full droop and full lift. Totally dangerous!
Really needed extended bottom ball joint pins to work properly.
Back on with standard units now and its all good!
Awesome build Austin, will you be bringing it to PV and Billing?
