Yeah, flywheel, clutch and F28 and Quafe + more... Eek.
But i wanna do it and be able to not go in there again...
Make sure you get the correct oil pump seal for the Z20LET pump
What as in the gasket? So the brand new one for Vauxhall i have i wrong.. :(
Need the C20LET crank seal for the middle of the pump, the C20LET oil pump to block gasket and the Z20LET pickup pipe gasket/O ring.
Well done Lee - You've done your research
I thought I was going to see it ripping up the road:(
However, glad to hear that you plan to use it.
Just get it done, lovelly summers day, and hit the north wales B roads:)
Legend, any chance you know the pick up pipe gasket number?Quote:

And now have full oil pressure at last.
Bring on the passenger rides
Nice work mate well done
It's a special car Lee, love the fact you look after it so much :)
Is your insurance extremely cheap though? Never knew that companies offered 100 mile cover lol
Keep at it, one day you'll get some real use I'm sure without it burning clutches out ;)
Good times Lee.
Love it as always.
one of my favourites
It's ridiculous, anything it wants it seems to get. Spent as much as my XE corsa cost me on the Nova since the rolling road and it's done zero miles.Quote:

Yes it in one piece and its full from fire up, but I don't think its been run up to temperature yet
Good work lads.
Hopefully will see this out on the road this year then Lee ;)
Nice to see progress lee would be good to see it in the flesh this year mate.
Car out for the first time this year for a wash, then promptly put back in the garage. 23 months since the tax ran out now lol

You still selling this?
Scott
If anyone is willing to pay me the asking price otherwise I'll just leave it in the garage for another few years.
daylight!
Id say the best thing you can do Lee is get it to a show or two next year. This way everyone will get to see how well its been built/finished. which will possibly give you a much better chance of selling for a good price once words got round. I know you say Its not your thing but It might just help your cause etc.
Nick.
Stunning car, do you not enjoy driving it or anything any more?
Stunning
Don't think I could ever sell a nova that nice
I'm more than happy to take it to all the shows for you Lee, I have to agree with Nick one its well known again it'll sell complete
Simply lovely!
Could be a very sad weekend. Meant to be receiving a deposit on the engine so then its game over for the old girl after nearly 11 years of ownership.
However, the car has covered approximately 1000 miles in all the time i've been with my missus (7 years) so it hardly seems worth keeping it anymore.
Considering selling the Civic as well and getting an Evo 8 or 9 but still undecided on that plan as I live in the carjacking capital of the North-West.
Whot price would u be looing for shell
Sad times Lee :(
Remember Evos rot bad... very bad so give them a proper looking over if you do go window shopping.
