Yer aff yer heid lol
haha a did tell ye mate.
why didnt you open the other door, and if it hits the garage door drive further away lol.
Why didnt you fold both doors back on themselves?
Also, which engine is this? the new one?
TBH its a renault so the door was probs hanging off anyway.

Fair response as long as a full refund is given and parts refunded then this is a reasonable outcome to a potentially costly excersise
Do feel for the guy tho as he has obviously had a lot of hassle with this
Let - credit for stepping up and not running away let's hope many lessons have been learnt here on all sides
Good luck with the rest of build
Oh but why did you fit the engine and box with no clutch bearing etc? Did you ever intend on finishing it?
i dont want credit fella. just want it sorted. i fuked up yes. all i can do now is try to help the guy and make it right. david is a genuine guy and im really sorry things never worked out as a promised etc. i have been in constant contact now and will get it sorted.
i wish david the best of luck and and well done to all who are helping him although they shouldnt have to.

i met dav tonight the gye is spot on. a young lad first project needing some help from a TRADER on here and this hapens to him, dosnt say mutch for you or this forum. i just hope he can see past this and relise some of us are here to help because we enjoy it and dont want to see ppl stuck or riped off
he is a top guy. and i wish the guy all the best with his project. you say it doesnt say much for the people or the forum, but the people on this forum helped him out when i failed.
So are you going to make sure he's fully refunded then ?
Least you showed up to at least try and sort it out, what's the crack with the engine you fitted ? No good ?
I thought there would have been a total slating here which there hasn't!!!
Let's attitude of "yes I failed and it will be sorted is refreshing to see"
From watching the forums over many years this has happened quite a lot and am glad this has come to an amicable end!!!
I wasn't aware you could change the thrust bearing without removing the box on a big block
You learn something every day :)
I agree - but dont count your chickens just yet - Let Nova isnt the most reliable - so it could just be a ploy to get a bit more time/leniance..Quote:

yea yea, i handed you the money...
And i handed it to someone else........FACT!!! Dnt shoot the messenger
must be 5-6 years ago now come on build a bridge fella!!!
Might even have been longer than that tbh...
Like i said beforehand i am very sorry about that i sold hundruds if ot more parts and used to have a reasonable name and 95% happy (impossible when you sell second hand parts to keep everyone happy)
I learnt a lesson in selling things for a friend over that and to be fair he bought that engine off someone unknown of history the same as you. just unlucky.
Glad everything is sorted now tho.........
back to the thread.....
Yep, its nice that LET actually come on and manned up - well done..
:tosser: thats all let is, big wow hes came on dosent mean its gna happen il sit back and watch what happens
