Aye. Was almost scrapped though so it want too big a deal.

its been far too cold to get out into the garage over the last 2 nights.

I should have a nice package arriving in a few days which I'm quite excited about receiving. More news when it does. I'm also just waiting to get the details on how to plumb the power steering in. I havent got a clue which outlets on the pump (3 of) do what? The rack has 2 ports.

Dash & column should be going back in over the weekend along with the pedal box from the Corsa.

Having some spigot rings made for the V6 discs too, cant be doing with paying for em.

top stuff craig! just rad thru the thread and looks/sounds like its gonna be an ace motor tbh!

Aswell as the personal goal, I dont mind admitting its nice to get recognition too. Most of the ideas & stuff is what Ive been wanting to do for years. Finally getting somewhere with it now, although I'm moving house in a month which might slow me down, but I will have my own garage!!

The main goal is to get it to PV or Billing this year & I rather it was PV tbh as then it'll get to both!

Friday night saw some mincing straight after work, only pausing for food & I kept going until 10pm. Sall was not happy!

I made another bulkhead grommet for the cabin side of the bulkhead to seal the rack. The column has now gone back in & the pedals are mounted back in for the last time, all the pivots nicely lubed with marinee (under water) grease.

Ive also re-routed some of the wires on the loom (+ve) to aim them at the battery (when its fitted).
Next job, maybe tonight is to start putting the main dash fascia back in & hiding the immobiliser & alarm. Then set about mounting the ECU on the bulkhead, hopefully behind the glovebox.
Then I might have to look into wiring in the engine loom/ECU & that will begin the process of getting the engine running which involves making a new bracket for the fuel pump too.

The Corsa servo & its backing plate along with the pedal was bolted & sealed down finally with this gacky, rubber seal stuff. Courtesy of a mate who is a main dealer mechanic at VW, they use if for a bodge on the new Passats. NICE!

I think I'll cut the similar plug from another E16SE loom & tap into the Corsa engine loom so it will simply plug straight on, makes sense IMO.
Plus I got to view a car with the same PAS setup as mine at the weekend. These pics make plenty of sense to me.....
