Re the seatbelts, I was going to run four point harnesses. There is an extra hole drilled on each side of the rear seat pan for the eye to go through and fit to a strengthening plate.

As for the seat belt could you not take the plastic out put it on the bar first and some how thread it between the cage? it does look tight tho:eek:
I wouldnt cut it coz that means welding it in the car with the carpet fitted would be a nightmare if it cought fire.
