Thanks for the comments gents. Just got to sort the front hubs out now to see whether I'll be running 4 or 5 stud. I want to find a way of getting an omega hub to find a manta spindle.

Done a deal with Shaun on a set of 5 17" speedline mistrals in 4 stud that are all mint and in anthracite so thats that decided.
The car isn't going up to Fusion next weekend now. I'm going up there first to meet with him face to face and chat through exactly what I want so he can price it up better then we'll go from there.
Not as much of an update as I'd hoped this weekend. Got the grinder basket out friday and went and bought a handfull of cutting discs...

Sadly I didn't get up to the shed until 7.30 tonight for various reasons and with it being a sunday I knew the old dear next door wouldn't take well to the grinder! So I done a bit of measuring instead!
Laid the gearbox out so the shafts are inline with the centre of the wheel (roughly)...

Put on the torque tube and I was expecting to have to move where the gearstick mounts (2 bolts at the bottom of the pic) but looks like its gonna be perfect for where I'll be having the seat position (as far back as possible). As you can see its inbetween where the handbrake & gearstick would be.

The torque tube then finishes and the bell housing (150mm deep) starts here...

Which is about the bottom of the windscreen in the middle of the car. I then did some working out where the engine will sit in the bay and where to cut out on the bulkhead initially. I ended up with this...

The square is obviously where the engine will sit (based upon the cam cover), which puts it pretty much bang inbetween the struts.
Roll on next weekend when hopefully I can get my grinder out and cross the commitment to rwd threshold!!
measured with bungee cords...epic
lol I measured with a tape measure, marked it out then laid it out in string to get a better perspective!
