It's set by the king pin inclination, so in the case of a nova, it's the angle between the bottom ball joint and the top of the damper piston where it's in the top mount. So the only effect of changing that would be a slight change in the way the spring/damper compresses.

edit: angle meaning relative to flat ground. Draw a line through that angle, where it hits the floor, that's the point you measure scrub radius from. Forget what the point is called now tbh.

The massive downer to fitting the azev's tho appart from their own cost is the fact that the tatty bodywork just wouldn't fly anymore and it would then start turning into a show car.

Spent some time up the workshop tonight. Got a frucking rat problem which is annoying! Stinks of rat pooh & pish. Need to go back up there tomorrow and get it sorted. :(

The car is off to Lee at Fusion in 2 weeks to have the cage made and welded in.

In the last pic it gives me a btcc feel...

With it sat like that, I can just imagine it rolling out towards track, bobbling over all the little tiny bumps track-weapon style :cool:


I can also imagine it scrubbing on the corners, but 1200lb springs will fix that lol

They are a stunning wheel in a decent size (i hate them in 15"), but they look sweet in that size (17"?)

How have you managed to get a 17" wheel under the front? and sit it that low?
