wider track all round will make it more responsive, but less stable. Basically it'd feel twitchy, best thing is maybe talk to Dan and find out what his real experience with going wide and and high offset was? Overall he found it pretty good iirc, but pretty sure he mentioned using slimmer fronts as it didn't feel right on the front end.
I've been told if I go too wide on the steering wheels I will notice the difference as its more likely to tramline etc but the rear should be fine.
The fronts will be 7.5" et30 but I'll likely stick to 195 tyres.
Could be to do with the scrub radius, I'm no qualified expert but I can have a bash at figuring out all the effects on some paper if you like.
Well have you ever drove a nova on 17-205/40 et45 ?
i use to have that off set once, and it was ****! truly horrendous handling, use to pull all over the road, you touch a white line and it would just pull the car like the tracking was out, or like a poltergeist was driving! lol
So think how bad it can get the wider/lower off sets etc..

I think this is the best nova saloon there is, keep the turbo wheels they look awesome, and keep up the great work mate.
So why does the lower offset cause it to drag around so much? Whats the science behind it?

How important is it that the strut points at the bottom ball joint? Say for example you add a bracket between strut body and carrier to push the strut inwards for clearance. So your line from top mount to ball joint is the same but the strut has obviously moved away from this line - any effects?
