You can also buy a range of flap wheels to fit the die grinder to smooth off after die grinding out the excess. They are very useful to help maintain a smooth cylindrical shape without undulations.

argos sell cheap ones dont need a compressor setup like that although is the best option not essential as only soft alloy!
My powdercoated inlet arrived today, and I thought i'd build it together!
Now i've yet to get my Roose hose kit, and I have to send the injectors to get cleaned/flowed before I bolt everything down tight.

i dont know where your going with the grey powder coat keith, but IMHO it looks unfinished/primed
you wanna be careful the powdercoat on the inside doesnt come off too
other than that, keep up the good work mate
Are you going to clean the coating off the water unions? or leave it on?
I'm going to swap it over with the one from the other inlet.Quote:

personally i think acid/steam cleaning would have been sufficient bud
The first picture is it steam cleaned. IMO the new version looks better, even tho it wont be seen, it still looks alot cleaner and will be easier kept clean.
EDIT: It looks alot better in flesh, the flash from the camera mess's it all up, same with the colour of the car.
