You could try a big hinged chassis leg on the nearside to refit with f28.lol
Lucky you didn't get splat by the engine droppping!
Great work, wish I had no kids, no free time!

Nice bit of progress Benn
Still can't believe that you take out/put in big blocks though the top lol
Benn, looking through your thread yet again when you fitted rad did you move it over so you can run boost pipes either side of it, Only my rad sits up close to chassie, So how did you fix the rad in at the top ?
Great progress benn the new mount looks great and so does the smoothing.
Damo.
Brilliant work mate! No messing about as per with you!
I like this pic.

Top hat looks like an arm/hand. lol
Very lucky with the hoist. that could have been nasty for you two/car/engine!
Looking forward to seeing the bay changes mate.
Just a idea, but if your looking for less in the bay why not do a corsa servo conversion ?
All sorts in the way! Bet you could polish a pedal box though...Quote:

Nowt that couldn't be moved TBH. I'm sure he has his reasons for not doing the conversion though.
I'm sure Benn has thought of loads of things he can hide.
Just had a closer look and like limplamp says nothing that can't be moved, but still, benn, polished things... gotta be a winner? lolQuote:

Brake pedal feel improved too
Lucky that didnt land on you pal could of been very nasty
Not at all, just that shiny polished things is most definitely your thing lolQuote:

Corsa servo ftw.
Kk, polishing a pedal box would be easy. Wrapping it in leather would be awesome.. I'd love a real pedal box but top mounted(pedals hanging down, used a floor mounted one and made my ankles hurt)
Shut it you...Quote:

You really don't hang about do you benn? Great to see the engine out allready. You were lucky you didnt do any harm to yourself or the car. I think I've said before you should hide the servo, I'm sure you would make the corsa one work no problem. It would look awesome mate!! Come on............
lol no point in hanging about, if you get in the zone just dive on in... I might look in to the Corsa servo, not sure it will be now tho...
well mate you didnt wait long after the feature to get stuck in did you good work though the car is pretty much perfect but you wont settle on that lol
get it done now lolQuote:

it will be the next level of smoothness and look awesome.
May aswell do it whilst the car is off the road IMO benn. Ready for the show season. Would look awesome.
Well yes, shoot was done on the 8th of Oct, came off the road a week later when the rad broke haven't done much to it since..Quote:

but now simps has said it, it might look unbalanced.
I never fully liked how empty and non-symmetrical my old bay looked. Thats why I decided turning the engine round was the only way.

p.s. sorry for the pic whore but it was needed
damn you, i was gonna PS out the servo etc,
might still later on lol
I think it would take it to the next level tbh
Would look top with the servo hole smoothed over and painted
Doubt it cost that much as well, £30 tops for a servo plus a bit more
I also love the 'how does it run' look lol
Well that one doesn't :p But it's an awesome look imo and Benns would look more symmetrical due to the turbo intake etc if that's a worryQuote:
