I love all this fabrication and welding. There something satisfying repairing a car that most people would be too scared to even look at.

Well today I set to the O/S/F inner wing. Welded it up to tie in the bulk head and the sills/ outriggers etc.
Nice and sturdy two mm plate used :)

Then I made this side. Pictures don't do it justice.. I think this is the strongest bit of the hole car. Its been seem welded all the way round and has a few plug welds into the turret to :)

When I get the engine out I will grind it all down a lot better and smooth the lot.
Cut most of the chassis leg out and as you see I also welded a few bits while it were open..
