No real updates, been too busy spending my time (and f**king money) on booking wedding bands, florists, photographers etc...
Just a wee pic from when i had it out to sweep up the garage after puting wings back on.

Next week will have a few updates, engine bay has been completely repainted, along with a few odds and ends and theres a few more parts arrived!....
bazil really likes the look of this, cant wait to see it painted :)
I love this car, looks awesome.
Something about it always looks so neat & fresh in all your updates. I can't put my finger on it wether its the photography or just the combination of colours (primer) & white wheels, but it looks ace even in the state it is in.
Looking forward to engine bay pics.
Im with you on that Craig, love the look of it..
A quick picture-less (for now) update. Ive had the engine bay emptied of all tanks, coil, strut brace, induction kit, afm, intake pipe ec etc and sanded everything back, and now its all re-painted and built back up. The Strut brace and rocker cover are away for powder coating.
Elsewhere, ive got the spoiler off the tailgate, tailgate off the car and in the bin, im messing about fitting the new fibreglass one at the minute. Once that’s done, and the holes drilled for the boot pins, im sending the tailgate, bonnet and rear wing off to be painted.
At the same time the car is off to get new rear arches and sills put on, then that will be going to the painters as well.
So, some progress recently
Ive also been doing a bit of work on my fiances car. It’s a wee C2 Furio, I’ve dropped it 60mm all round, fittied 17” versions of my wheels, colour coded the mirrors, and done a repair on the front spoiler. Pics of that to follow as well.
Oh and ive just bought an Opel Manta too……
Wow that is well clean !
Sounds like some nice additions are being made to it :thumb:
i agree craig ive loved this car all the way through the project was wondering where it had got two though lolQuote:

Looks really deep that red matey!
Was it rattle can? Or a porpper gun jobby?
Great work mate, if that's a rattle can then that's a damn good finish you've got on it, great paint skills.
pov spec rattle cans mate - im too cheap to buy a propper gun set up lol But yeah looks ok considering.
Really like this :)
cheers guys!
by the way that front bumper is just sitting there, the big gap under the headlight isnt normally there, just threw it on for a quick pic.
I am very, very impressed!Quote:

Tis away to its new home at the bodyshop, its getting fresh sills and quarter repairs, and obviously paintwork. So, it should be back with me sometime in the new year, probably with new wheels.
wow! i have a red sr and ive gone for the red and black theme.... got me rethinking now hehe. spot on mate much attention to detail.
any progress with this. it sits very well on those wheels. nice mk1.
Cars finished mate. Its all painted and rebuilt, just waiting on my tailgate to come back from the painters now, had to be redone. No new pics of it at the minute, its all tucked away until my weddings out the way.
