Just an extended drag spoiler pal . To loose that air that usualy gathers around the tailgate area . I fitted it a few years ago with great results . Car was 5mph faster on average with that fitted which is a huge improvement

Awesome stuff mate, looks the part now, subed to your YouTube to see updates.
Thought about a rear diffuser? If not I'd probably least cut the rear bumper upto them holes for less drag.
Cheers for the sub I did same with your channel .Not going for defuser mate just another series of holes offset to these ones . My fuel tank is behind rear bumper so makes it awkward to get a decent size defuser on .
On my old track car I cut it from the exhaust cut out, came up to the flat above the curve, all along the length then curved it back to the outer side of the toe loop opening.
On its way to get tuned pick it up in a weeks time all being wellhttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...4a0bbcd05c.jpg

What sort of power are you expecting?
The motor its self was built for figures around 700hp however the standard inlet and the turbo will restrict it to around 400 . I have a big plenum inlet still to go on and a gtx3582r which I just need a new manifold for so should see figures of 600hp before the season has finished . Still work to do but there is a few events I want to attend hence the reason its getting tuned now
New high flow fuel rail im currently making .
The blank rail was from RnD and a local machine shop has drilled the injector ports and I now just need to cut a bit off the end and weld the An8 fittings and lugs on
Also got a megasquirt 3 with expansion board fitted and 4 bar map sensor / knock light / bluetooth ordered from extra efi

Been dreding doing this for ages but had to be done stripped back the underside with a wire wheel on the grinder and repainted . To my surprise no rot had come back anywere after 15 years since I last did it . A tubed rear end aswell is sounding a good plan the more I think about it .

Most of the parts bolted back on now I wanted to upgrade . Just need to fit the new turbo and manifold and wait for megasquirt 3 extra to arrivehttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...e1978aa311.jpg

Well the new ecu has arrived from extra efi .
I have had the expansion board fitted on ms3 which allows for coil on plug and 8 fully sequential injectors and blue tooth which means I can use the tablet I bought for the car a while back as live digi read out , data logging aswell as lots lots more that the omex wasnt capable of.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...57e9e7a72b.jpg

Busy work commitments have stopped me getting the car back in at the Dyno . But I will have it booked in again within the next couple of months
Bit of an update . I have bought a gtx3582r turbo for the car and love the look of the side mounted turbos . So iv have had a little project going over the last week of making a manifold for it and as equal as i can get without going daft . Im currently half way through welding it then the plan is to send it away for ceramic coating black along with the turbine housing .
Go easy its the first turbo manifold i have ever build. First pic cutting the merge collector
Then the elbows and flange arrived
Ended up with a nice shape after alot of measuring
And began to weld it.
Im now at the point were i need to let it cool then remove the flange and merge collector to finish the welds and then build it back up again for welding to the flange .
I have bolted the flange to a heavy box section to stop and distortion but for the sake of £30 i think i will have it skimmed aswell before coating.
More pics to comehttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...099608cc54.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...aadbcfb495.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...3082c4fe90.jpg

Nice work pal. Looks great.
No need to go easy on it mate, that's pretty bloody good in my mind.
You got room up over the box to fit it all in?? Which I'm sure you have or you wouldn't be doing it!! Hahaha
Yea mate plenty of room this has been my plan throught the whole build so i tryed to keed that area pritty empty for this to go in . Need to move rad fan to the front but apart from that it fits nice n snug
All runners fully welded now so time to build back up againhttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...b7439258bc.jpg

Turbo flange to weld on and spout for 44mm v band wastegate .
And its all fabed up . Iv been scratching my head for weeks wondering how im going to weld around the merge . When infact the hardest part of the job was welding the head flange on . That was a b@5tard to get in at between the runnershttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...cda0f9e2c2.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...24c066dda3.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...6db3d5a50c.jpg

Ooohh welding porn, looks very well done. :thumb:
Cheers pal . I cant wait to mount the turbo and see it on the car
Is that an steel manifold? I think you want to support the manifold/turbo with all that weight..
The turbo above the gearbox will look mental!
Yea they all have a support from the rocker cover and then underneath from the gear box mount or like in going for from the bell housing bolts
Somthing along them lineshttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...08abe2fdc7.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...dbb37b56f7.jpg

Well its back at the dyno and all running on new ms3x ecu all sensors calibrated and idling spot on so time to start tuning . Get it all working on the old manifold then swap it over onto new one once its finishedhttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...e0288145f9.jpg

Yea pal they are all about as close as possible . Number 3 is also quite long but i came out further with it to make the length up
Well thats the little to4e turbo maxed out and need to fit the new evo big plenum inlet and gtx3582 for a better torque curve but shes home and running and ready to race this season
https://youtu.be/ugqe_9OoYm4
Some new bits have arrived for the turbo
Manifold . Im currently on building a big plenum inlet ( pics to follow ) and working out traction control.

Nice pal looking good.
Exhaust manifold finished and wrapped
Which i hated every minute of doing
Eventually had time to tig the spout up for wg at work . And the new inlet im on building is slowely being made in my "dinner breaks". Im going to shorten the runners to just long enough to get the fuel rail in and then fit the trumpets before fitting the nice box i have made for it all.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...97b78f9072.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...2ba0a49c59.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...d728e83f3b.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...8ef5a8a9e1.jpg
