Gone and bloody bought a nova lol I knew it wouldnt be long until i got another...damn it :(
I'll be wishing it didnt lol it's been a joy working on cars without discovering rust on a daily basis! Hopefully this one will be better than the others.
what ever happened to the black one you had?
WTF always liked that car
More importantly, what happened to your yaris?
lol Let's not start that again Jack.
I always loved it, but i wanted to move on so got rid of it (wanted to make sure nobody else could have it aswell lol) and all my spares thinking that it wouldnt happen again...
arghhhhhhhhhhh you one of them people lol, never understood the whole 'no one else but me can have my toy, if i cant have it no one can' mentatally personally lol
ive meet a few people like it and it baffles me, one bloke scrapped his merc as he had no room for it, i said i would of had it, but apprantly he loved the car so much he couldnt bare see anyone else drive it
lol yeah im on of them. To be fair though the car was way too rotten underneath to sell it on and i got more than enough breaking it so it made sense to anyway. I once sold it to a local guy and i had to buy it back so i didnt want it happening again. Hopefully i won't be getting attatched to my new one so it wont be getting the grinder treatment!
where are the pictures then?
if you dont have any atless tell us more about it lol
Pictures will come tomorrow when i update my project thread :) Basically a reshelled SRi with GSi trim which im going to make into a very tidy white gsi rep hopefully. Wasnt wanting any 16v engine, the main thing is the shell is very clean apart from some rusty front wings. Best of all for all you haters, it's a mk1 which has been made into a mk2 lol lol
brake out the grinder.
lol No way, i tried liking the mk1s and very nearly bought one but i just couldnt :( I'll always be on the mk2 side.
had the wheels off mine to check the brakes front and back and check the rear wheel bearings to find the wiggly bum to be from out of shape rear tyres :tard: so need new ones had a general check round sorted the tracking out and checked fluids and battery and air filter which is disgusting all the fun of a new car/van lol
Here you go mate. I've given it a clean for you Lol

looks alright, white is the best colour novas come in imo
today i got all my electrics working :), first time the headlights and wipers have been on in over 3 years like its awaken from a long sleep lol
Yeah white is definetly one of the best, shows the character of the car more i reckon!
Headlights are quite important lol
only in the dark ;)
lol
lol
Ive been doing the rounds looking up prices for stuff i need, when did ebay become the cheapest place for brake pads and disc's :tard:
gsf £54.60
5ltrs engine oil
2ltrs gearbox oil
sparkplugs
oil filter
5ltrs anti-freeze
alternator belt people in the know is that a alright price?
threw a snowball in it
Walked pass it. :thumb:
2 new rear tyres and free off the handbrake she now drives alot better and even managed to beat the horn to life aswell lol
Tried to change the springs-unsuccessfully, changed the thermostat, welded patches the only two bits of corrosion I can find on it, tried racing it against my mate but it seems it really is the driver, with him in the 1.4 and me in the 20xe I lick him but, with me in the 1.4 and him in the 20xe, I still licked him, he is clearly a rubbish driver.
Did you polish your rims?
It makes all the difference.....
Lay the back seats down too
Today I put more parts on top of the Nova. Its basically an oversized cupboard these days lol
I brushed past my earlier while getting an axe, does that count as doing anything?!
Yesterday I actually walked into the garage and took pics of the GSi and the shell for the Red Shed. (click here for proof)
Will take pics of the Red Shed sitting in the snow this afternoon - if I can be arrrsed, that is. ;)
Oil and filter change, heat wrapped the exhaust manifold

that reminds me i want to wrap the manifold for my car, you have done it very neat!
First try at it for me
did you wet it first
No I did it dry is that wrong ?
