Small update, when the car whent in for it's spray the rear numberplate light unit's clips broke off, so i happened to stumble across this seller on the bay, and bought a BRAND NEW Hella one, OK it's not 100% perfect to the one off the car, but it's the right part code and is for Astra/nova of the era etc.
Pics of old one, and new.
Original old one.

Central locking would fit, but electric windows would be shocking, gray switch holder and there would be holes in the door cards. JUST NO.

Cheers guy's im glad there others who see what is Ive been trying to do, just make it look back to it's lovely self etc, but i am going to be using it for a few months daily now, so i will have to look after it allot more harder, plus Ive got some slight mods to do, nothing nasty, just some billy shocks, maybe 40mm lower, and 14" steelies, but do i do restore them in SR anthracite, or make them sliver like mine?
Scott
Looks great dude.
Silver so it looks factory bus has that wee edge over standard as there bigger :)
I'll be over for a look at Billing mate lol Not fancy stripping it out and selling me some of the brown good'ness inside ?
How about........... NO lolQuote:

So fixed it quite easy, but then when testing the rear it stopped, so i poked a needed in the end, try again, no water, but there was a nasty spraying sound! then i see water dribble through my roof lining! Ahh
Turned out the clear pipe jointing through to the rubber grommet had split and come off in the C pillar, so fixed and were all 100% working! (took 3hrs though!) lol sodding Nova's..
Scott
thats abit unlucky.
but well done on the build so far fella.
