Good work as always Nick :)
Hi All, Its update time! I know its been a while since my last update however those of you who know me quite well will know Ive been busy with other ventures......My first house! The astra in this thread was sold but I managed to keep the nova which was a bonus as I never wanted to part with it in the first place! Plus our house has a garage so perfect for the nova! Anyhow I kept looking at the nova inside/out and the engine bay to see were it could be improved etc. I spent a lot of time thinking and this is what Ive come up with.... Hope you like! :)
Interior wise....
The following went to Raj at autoflock.......

A,B pillar trims, sunvisors, inserts, speaker covers and I had a spare fuse box cover done as the one that was previously flocked was'nt covered properly on the top edge... Im thinking the flocked pillar trims should go great next to the rear carbon cards that are already in place and Although the dash had already been flocked the speaker covers and dash surrounds on the top were not done so Ive had some of these done to match.... However something a little more special awaits the other dash/ interior parts! Big thanks to Raj by the way as the work is excellent and cost me a mere £35 delivered back to me for all of the above!
These also arrived but I am a little unsure of them at the mo....

Engine bay wise.....
Again I kept looking at the bay to see were I could improve it... I decided that the fuel pressure reg/Filter was going to get it! Bmw 668 gloss black style! Not an easy task though probably the most fidly item Ive ever masked! But well worth it....
All stripped/rubbed and masked....

I had to place rivets in the reg housing to prevent paint getting into the threads... also using a trusty belt sander I ground down another rivet to fit the reg breather hole in the top. And heres how it turned out....

Also I cleaned up and used a little autosol to get this part back to its best...

The bracket that holds the pressure reg had been previously painted matt black however as it bolts to the strut top I decided it would be good to paint it bodycolour being ferrari rosso corsa...
Into the paint stripper it went and a quick rub later it was lined up ready for paint...

And painted....

Still continuing with the engine bay I decided that my carbon cambelt cover was looking a little dull so off it came for a freshen up...
All rubbed and ready for action..

A few coats of sealer followed by a few coats of lacqeur and we have one fine looking cambelt cover........

I had also purchased a carbon heatsheild to go with other carbon items under the bonnet but when it arrived it was also rather dull :( And obviously is was going to get rather hot so I didnt fancy giving it my normal treatment... But one of the guys I work with mentioned using a high temp lacqeur on it, As I wasnt happy with the item I thought I may as well give it a try, Heres the outcome....

A hell of an improvement Im sure you'll agree!
Whilst I was on with the bits and pieces mentioned earlier my local chroming firm were on with numerous bits for me, Im not a huge fan of a huge mass of chrome but little bits here and there I think look well..
Heres some items Ive had done...
