So, thats the winter hibernating sorted. Over winter plans:
I need to finish the interior on the car. Just one part of it (interior, exterior, engine) needs to be 'done'. So ignoring everything else for a bit; this is my main focus for next few months.
Starting with those stupid subframes. Im fiddling with them again. As you can see (passenger side at least,) the cobra 'thru-the-floor' frames are out and, off camera, theyve been chopped up to be refitted a better way soon hopefully.

Here sits the O.E nova frame, we're measuring up at the mo; working out ways of gettin the cobra frames adapted to sit in hopefully, a lot lower and not using the floor; than before.
Ill keep posting updates, as per.

Whats been the problem with the subframes? Did you buy "proper" ones?

So we are lowering the height,.. (60mm!) and fabricating ****e for the rear. Prob donor the O.E subframes.

My point is the floor mounting; u said urself in a post ages ago the floor is too thin to use as a main mounting point; 1mm thick metal; and yet cbra think thats enough to mount seats to; safety eh..
I weigh just over 9st, and when i sit in it and move about the floor gives, very slightly; to the movement of the seat like..
