Ok; finally got around to uploading some more photos..

So; got the car turned back over, and knocked up the rear gearbox mount. Also drilled and tapped the F28 to locate the M12 bolts for this.

Used an astra GTE drivers side alloy mount, and then started to make the gearbox mount.
Taking the unconventional rounte....cut some steel out..

At this point, I tried the vinigar thing on a few brake components:

But then opted for the soda crystals/old metal and car charger method (with -ve on the brake parst)
Works a treat and changes iron oxide back into iron.

Next intercooler fitting.
Its going to sit behind the bumper to keep the car looking not too lairy. Big holes will provide the airflow for this..

Also made up a gear linkage from 20pounds of e-bay rose joints. Bargin!
(Have modified this since taking the pics. Now has the calibra end to link up with the gearlinkage rod)

Got myself some 'lead filling kit' from frosts.co.uk, and started filling...
..the bits where the servo came through previously, and the part on the drivers side of the bulkhead...

...And so we are pritty much up to date.
Am working on smoothing the upper bulkhead at the moment, and the turrets and seams, so will post pics as they come.
Have lead filled the main seams, and put in hours of sanding so far..
