Last year I went out on a break-down, as I was rooting through the boot of the car to get the tow eye, the bloke comes out with a kettle of boiling water... *CRACK* ooops lol

Hot water- free and easy
De-icer- expensive and easy
Scraper- LOL no chance

finally proof that it only happens with boiling water!!!!!!!!!! and i bet he stood there saying that never happened before..............

Just dont use cold water makes it worse!

paul , if it was your OWN car would you chuck it on, or do you do it because its just a work van and your lazy and dont care if its blows up!!lol

Own car tend not to use in the ice, use the van! My car gets de-icered tho ...

I put warm water on my screen all last winter, because it was a banger i didn't care, even threw some salt in with it lol
