Worrying thing is, this is my GSi.... i would guess its been Reshelled and the plate wasnt transfered.

have you checked your chassis numbers match? there should be 1 beside the drivers seat on the floor by the inner sill

Here's my GTE, so GSI VIN would look similar, so definately a re-shell i'd say
