Few more bits done for the Donnington deadline!

New Crank Thrust ring is on with new seal in place, and so far so good, (touch wood and fingers crossed!!) No oil leak :d

Some rachet straps with wheel straps turned up today so I can strap the car to the trailer... Ebay bargain at £50 for four

Got my foot rest plate rivetted in with a bead of silicon under it to stop rattles and dirt getting under

So got to order another adapto now, I love doing things twice!

Air filter had a wash and spray with ITG Dust Retention Spray

And finally got the cambelt cover fitted (Note for iainel, yes all 3 bolts are in it! ;) lol )

So left to do is...

- Fit Sender unit
- Fit flywheel cover plate
- Make a bracket for kill switch pull cable
- Fasten in extinguisher pull cables
- Fill washer bottle with screen wash
- Re-seal cam sensor as it's still seaping oil out (My engine really dislikes having oil in it I think!)
- Input wheel measurement on dash for speedo reading
- Spanner check
- Trial car on the trailer as it's never been on it since I got it! lol
- Corner weight if I get time
- Finally get some laps in at Donnington! :d

Three bolts good to see you're not BODGING it lol That thread adapter just shear off then? Oh dear.

Ive got the £50 eBay wheel straps, had them for over 18months now, used them loads of times (30+) and theyres still cock on.

Iain: Yep just sheared off off with almighty strength :(

Paul: Cool glad there good, the bloke I bought the trailer off recomended them to me as he had them aswell and said they were brill for the money

lol only help was the 19mm spanner!!

Crossed a few more bits off my list, one of which was to make an ally blank for the glovebox

Ian is that blank using self tappers? It may need to come off if there's any wiring issues?
