Yes mate the seat is positioned for weight distribution reasons - the battery will be going in the N/S/R corner of the car to counter balance the drivers weight in the front :thumb:

the reason why i put mine in the n/s/r corner to try and counter drivers weight top project whne you think itll all be finished? your making pretty fast progress
If you are going to all this trouble why didn't you make the driver's seat as far back as the passengers?
James are you going soft, I thought you were a hardcore weight saving freak like myself :( Battery in the back means an exessively long cable run, the seat mounts need chopping down also, I do like the removal of the cross brace on the floor, I know it's not revolutionary nowadays, but when I built mine it wasn't the done thing to remove them, out with the spot weld drill for me :)
