Right for all of you who could make PVS here's a bit of an update :-
Needed to finish off the speaker pods/ door pockets so trimmed up the passenger side on first :-

And then fitted it to the door card and onto the door :-

Then sorted out the drivers side - basically similar to above :-

Nova was away most of the day last Thursday getting the suspension all set up so got out the Wolfrace wheels :-

.... and got them all cleaned and polished up ready for fitting :-

Also concluded that I would have insufficient time to finish off the boot install. I'd already fibreglassed the wheelwell but had loads of work to do so wired up an temporary amp so I had some tunes on the way down to PVS :-

It was then off to PVS first thing Sunday morning (6am departure!). Quite scary really driving 180 miles wondering if something will break / drop off / conk out !!!!
I can confrim all was well (apart from jiggered wiper blades, a vibrating sunroof switch, vents which only work on warm or hot and a offside rear wheel wanting to catch on the inside of the wheel arch (too low basically!)
Got to PVS and was almost mobbed by the Novaload crew !!! Cheers for the reception and all the comments!!!
Got voted best car of the stand by Craig Green & co (cheers) and then went on to win the final against the rest of the car clubs !!!
Pics at PVS of the almost finished item!

Just need to change the oil for some semi (now done 500 of the 1000 miles run in needed), sort out the above problems and finish the install and we'll be ready for Billing in July.
More pics of the install once it gets somewhere!
Enjoy

Well worthy of Best car.
Awesome build, awesome car. You realise the amount of work thats gone into it when you see it in the metal.
great stuff joff, who you at billing with?
those front wheels are quite an offset arent they? Still intent on keeping the Voodoo's?
That apart, absolutely lovely....
Oh, the mesh, better in black?
well done Joff! had the same fun driving an un proven car today! its a horrible feeling! i think its just best to blank it out! i stayed local! fair play that you drove to pv!
The Voodoo's are on a 45mm offset but are 7" wide. The reason why they look a smaller offset is that the front geometry is bang on 1.25 degrees negative camber which does push the top of the tyre out a bit ( it was running 3 degrees of negative camber).Quote:

These wheels are only for mincing around on, I've got the Astra mk4 SXI rims which are 6" wide on a 49mm offset to give it death on .

Did notice that a couple of the bolts that connects the exhaust housing to the actual turbo unit were looking a bit loose. Need to sort those out before I go anywhere else!
