Must be half decent as Iain even complimented me on it sounding really nice  lol
:)
fun starts when you get the wideband on it - i couldnt believe how much the jets on mine wanted taking up!
Done a bit more on this today. Iain popped over to give me a hand too in his freshly run in beast, Cheers mate :d
We pretty much got all my vapour dash working, just got to do a bit of tweaking for the rev counter on it!
But all warning lights on dash are sorted and working. But annoyingly the headlights have stopped working, but we think its a dodgy switch.
Also started on getting all the wires where they need to be and mounting switches etc. on the centre console and dash.
Centre console out and roughly marked up where I wanted stuff.

Just got the pannel to finish and mount for the vapour, fuel and oil pressure guage. Then it can all be screwed together
Getting close mate...
What are all those horrible bullet connectors doing, rip them out immediately and do some proper solder and heat shrink connections.
Enough of my rant, tidy update so keep at it.
Bit closer to getting this done now!
Got some stickers for the cage and the centre console for marking switches up etc...
New Safety Devices Stickers on cage

Also got all the wiring finished off and tidied up, along with the guages fitted and all mounted nicely

Only problem I have is that the petrol gauge goes up to full when the ignition is turned on, but there is no petrol in the tank. Does this mean I have put the wires onto the sender unit the wrong way around, or would it be a faulty sender??
Looking motorsport now!
That dash looks quality now Ian!
Thought you took my old fuel sender unit to fix your faulty one? Or is that reading with my new one fitted?
