My mum got offered a new job today...2 days after finishing her old one lol
She had worked for RBS/Natwest for last 30 years (part time for last 20+) but they have closed the call centre where she worked. Decent payout which has got my mum and dads mortgage paid off plus another 5/6 grand spare. I'm being nice to them lol

It more this week rather than today. Got the v8 back to mine, then got the garage spick and span before tuning the nova around. Now wheres th grinder

Rode a route that in the past I've had to get off and push twice, but managed it all on the bike and at a decent pace too :) proper happy as it was up hills :) yay.
/\ i did a hill like that in devon when i was on my hols... and i also passed 3 other cyclists.. i felt pretty good by rather tired after though...
i just bought a mini fridge locally off the bay for 99p (new they are £75) with a faulty switch.. faulty switch is costing £2 posted...also from the bay. so i got a camping fridge for under 3 quid.

i agree. its still not as good as my telly.....
the mother in law didn't have a car & lives 30 miles away.. we were visiting & she asked us to take her telly to the tip as it had stopped working just out of warranty. its an LG 32" hd flatscreen.... so i said i'd bring it home & have a look at it 1st. 5 mins on the interweb & i'd ordered a repair kit.. 6 upgraded capacitors were soldered in & we've had it for 2 years & it is excellent. outlay £6.
Went riding with the RB boys today, started at holmfirth and did fifteen miles, and climbed over 2000ft, really enjoyed it and saw some stunning scenery, ace way to spend my b-day, now its time for beer :thumb:

Cheers guys, im def getting older as i was spending a lot of time taking in the scenery whilst i was out, there are pics of it/from the ride, and they simply dont do it justice!
Although not that old as im caning the beers now lol

I'm happy and relieved to get though the Ladies European Tour week live on TV looking good after two summer storms and a rain delayed 1st round. Nice to get home at a sensible time tonight after 16 hour day's all this last week.
Going on holiday today :)
