Being delivered the wrong bloody thing by ebay... twice.
What pissed me off today? Nearly getting the nova written off by some stupid woman who did not know how to use her mirrors!!! Luckily I anticipated her actions and smashed the brakes! Went past and said a few thankyou's... lol
Rounding the key to my bloody locking nuts
So we had bought a few tons of gravel, and it came today in big trucks, i showed them where to offload it and somehow they managed to get themselves stuck in some mud. They then proceeded to spin the wheels for a good 5 minutes before i managed to speak them into sense. They were polish and didnt speak a WORD of english, so working with them to get their trucks out was a bloody effort. It took us 2 and a half hours, alot of digging, towing, putting planks under the huge wheels, but eventually got them out. They were so pissed that they just emptied the gravel there and then and drove off. What a day...
/\ #1 always make a driver walk to where he is expected to tip, that way its his fault if he agrees to tip there.
#2 where the hell do you get people delivering gravel on a sunday??
I agree, always show someone where to unload before they, well, unload lol
i was on tippers for a couple of years, then on groundworks for about 10 years...
i've never been frightened of telling a driver or a customer if its not safe to tip..
but some idiot spinning their wheels on loose ground trying to get in to tip wants dragging out of the cab & showing how to do it...and i've done that too
760 square meters worth of ground that needs skimming by HAND and preping for turf
and the guy thinks it will only take 2 days lol
It actually dose, somone smashed a windscreen on one of my cars years ago altho i went a bit far and put a chain around his neck but he got the message lol
The fact I didn't win that white gsi on dvla auction, and the thought of it going to some wretched trader who will probably triple the price in a few weeks. No wander prices are going through the roof.
What it sell for in the end?
Coming home yesterday to find my nova has developed a fuel leak, just fixed it now after getting some pipe from work, only to find its relieved itself of well over half a tank, ffs, i was counting on having that for the weekend
its more of the fact I still live with my mum while im saving for my own place. I've already been broken in numerous times by cnuts after my bikes, I found out who 1 of them was and he had his face broken to pieces, then my mums car got keyed! I just don't want trouble being brought to my mums... its not fair on her!
That's fair enough. As I said, get CCTV, inform the police and move stuff into actual secure storage for a period of time or try (if you can afford it) to rent a lock up/garage to keep the bikes/car at etc. Hope you can sort it out though, doesn't sound a nice situation for anyone.
Jobsworth invigilators and ridiculous procedures, had my uni ID declined in an exam because it's out of date, I didn't realise because I never use it for anything except exams and it was fine last year (been out of date for 2)... still has a photo ID, name signature etc on it and I couldn't just show them a driving license etc after the exam because they only accept their own special cards.
Went to the exams office armed with a new card only to be told I can't sign any paperwork because it's not been collected yet, and they can't compare signatures side by side (as any bank etc would for security) it has to be on the same piece of paper, so I'd have to come back tomorrow! Which would be fine if the main campus wasn't towards the centre of oxford and surrounded by 3-4 schools, I have an exam 2-4 tomorrow so it means trudging through the schools/work traffic at about 4.30!
Then get home to find an email saying they've blocked access to my uni account so I can't even check what room I'm supposed to be in for tomorrows exam.
Ridiculously retarded red tape, reminds me of dealing with SLC, which are actually far worse than the DVLA.
Tree roots, scratching my RS1600i and **** drivers.
Getting up for work this morning when im supposed to be off :(
My eBay account has been suspended!
Admiral jacking the price of my renewal up by £200 from last year..... Needless to say I ain't renewing with them.
At 23 years old I have chicken pox for the first time :(
Not being able to fix the brakes on the nova.
Then finding I have a screw in the tyre on the Astra, and possibly a slow puncher on the other front tyre, and no money to fix them..
Everything!
I hadn't heard of shingles until my mrs had them.... i'd always thought it was something that fell out your arsse like piles lol
my big soft girl hands are covered in blisters after one day solid on the shovel :(
Good gloves are a life saver...^
tj, try leaning on something else.... lol lol lol
Young kids in cars who seeming empty the contents of their cars all over the road.
Genetic faults.
Just done a big poo and now my bum hole hurts.
Booked a day off work to go to Alton Towers but being up all night ill with a stomach bug so not going now.
