Nah, its still slipping mate. But the linkage had moved in relation to the selector, hence selector issues with 1st & 2nd. It goes OK but the clutch doesnt like full throttle. :(Quote:

I have looked at the clutch cable but its not that I dont reckon. When I bought the engine, there was talk of it having a slipping clutch when it was on the rollers, but I was lead to believe it was sorted. clearly not. I'll put up with it for a few weeks anyway. Not like I'm going anywhere special or far.
I did try & tax it lkast night, but the DVLA website wouldnt let me as my insurance details hadnt made it onto the database. (I guess)
Are they as i have 3 or 4 at my last count i best bung some on ebay or to Dar to R/J them lol.Quote:
