My Nova Build -WIP-

Well think this week has been very productive, and now I don't want to go to work on monday now... Just want to work on the nova all week again lol

Battery in and power cables P-clipped in

Engine Bay as it stands with strut brace fitted. Had to do it the wrong way round to clear the carbs. Also fastened the extinguisher nozzles onto the brace

Small mirror fitted... But not happy with it at all. Can't see it from in the car as the roll cage is in the way and even if I could it shakes like mad so wouldn't be able to see bugger all anyway. So think I'm going to go for some standard black nova mirrors

And this is the area of the oil leak. I tried tightening the sump bolts a little more and the leak did slow a bit but its still coming out. But I'm not convinced that it is the sump because the oil is getting on the timing belt back cover

Also there seems to be some oil on the top of the engine mount bracket too, but cam seals seem dry

That's pretty much up to date... Next up is to sort this digital dash out and get the oil pressure and fuel level gauge in and start tidying stuff up aswell as a spanner check. Then it will be in for the carbs to be setup

This is looking damned good now, can't wait to beat it round Donington, won't be long now

Check around the oil pump seal...

lol two Ian/Iain's with matching cars!! maybe i should respray mine white so when Paul's done his all of them look the same!

Scott: Yea it's getting there now, biggest jobs are the digital dash wiring and oil leak. Rest of the stuff is just tidying stuff up and bolting on final bits
