^ I know that's why they have copper washers but it's just an extra precaution really. Never done any harm. The CTS is bosch. I meant the dizzy cap.
I'll be checking the rotor arm tomorrow was gonna do it as this rotor arm looks very much like the ones on the SEH.Quote:

was thinking to go do some more work but I've got one hell of a headache so I'm playing Forza instead lol
nice up date on the bits, im yet to source my sensors and tidy my turbo up. yours came out pretty nice. well done. :)
Cheers dude (still need to look for that hazard switch for you I'll probably find out over the weekend).
I've started sourcing bits now just to save time. But most of the stuff is well priced. In terms of parts all thats really left is cam belt and rollers, actuator, inner cv's (hopefully David Dixon will sort me out for those), sump baffle, leads & plugs, cam and crank sensors.
Where did you get your baffle from?
The turbo looked a mess so it had to get done, once you paint you can't stop really lol
my baffle was from autovaux in the bottem end gasket kit.
i got my plugs (ngk bcr8es) today from a local factors along with leads. leads were £20.30 with vat.
is yours and early or late engine?
true true, I did see a AutoVaux ad in TV which showed the baffle. Will have a look see. Did you get iridium plugs or normal ones? No idea if it's late or early tbh. What am I looking out for to determin if it's the late or early engine?
i got normal plugs.
square tooth pulleys are late and round tooth pulleys are early. most easiest way to determine. also the late has 2 guide pulleys near enough next to each other where as the early has one guide pulley.
Cheers pal, I'll go have a look in my free time. I found the AutoVaux ad in TV. Elring baffle £19.95 (without screws) I'm assuming the stainless steel sump kit screws and washers I got will work with it (am I right in thinking that one screw fixes the sump gaskest and baffle at the same time?)
the gasket is the baffle, you need to use m6 x 20mm bolts with this gasket/baffle and m6 x 25 for the 2 end ones.
