Tonight has revealed I need a new clutch & the gear linkage appears to have slipped & can't select 1st & 2nd gate.

So nice to have the ticket though.

White OZ type TH kinda rally wheels, yeah seen that a few times. Looks OK.

Nah I'm not happy with it tbh, lots to mince about with before I tax it etc.

List to do;
Finish interior bits & bobs (stereo etc)
New clutch ($$) & re-set gear linkage.
Remove rear camber shims.
Tidy up engine bay (clean off spilt polish)
Lower fr ride height some more.
Tracking.
Work out if the HG has gone??

Probably think of more.

Only just read that it passed, Nice. To do list isnt much. How come you think the HG has gone? Did i miss somthing?

Bad news about the clutch, gearbox off job too if you have a f15.
And HG gone? :(

Though I havent been far in it, the coolant has gone horrible & manky & I'm convinced its losing some.

Clutch slips like a mofo, shouldnt be too much of a ball ache, put it on a ramp & split the box. Hopefully the unit itself wont be too costly. Replace the thrust bearing at the same time & put my lightened 8v flywheel on it if it doesnt have one already like I was lead to believe (along with the clutch being replaced)...

All good fun though, got the bug back now its passed. :)

Could it not be some nasty old coolant mixing with the new stuff?

Deffo no air locks? I panicked when the Chavalier level dropped lots after we'd flushed it through. Must have been an air lock as it's been fine ever since.

Possibility I guess. Might just be me being cautious.

Needs miles on it to find out & run it back in a bit, it was stood for pretty much 2 years.
