Update on the Nova!
Was wanting to do a wee bit before I updated the thread so here goes
First off, I swapped my spare/new Irmscher cam cover for this nicely refurbished, complete Irmscher UK airbox...Like so;

Onto the shell - Got all the repairs seam sealed up, flatted back with 400 grit dry paper then some schutz onto the back panel and corners etc;

Repair on the pillar sanded back and looking top notch, into etch primer now;

Mixed up some 2k Primer...Was a bit nervous as I know it's getting close to crunch time lol But was well happy with the application and mixing of the primer but I could argue the air pressure was a bit too high so I'll need to look into that but heres how it sits atm;

I hope the whole car works out the way I want it, I'm kinda going for an early SR theme but with Sport gear as well thrown into the mix - A kinda 'Custom' ;)
I've no idea when it'll be ready for paint, quite a wee while away yet, a lot of prep still to do and some more schutzing and sealing etc - Just wanted the repairs into 2k primer so I can see how it looks and get it all flatted back
The arch repairs are allright, for doing them myself (Except the welding of them) I'm no bodyshop expert...yet lol but I'm fairly happy with them :)

seems to have came on alot in the last wee while..

arch repair looks great, reminds me of when i did my black nova..bit of a ballache, although it was my first time aswell.
its always good when you get a good result, i think i spent a week on either side. results were worth it though.
keep up the good work, our projects will proably be finishd about the same time! i am hoping for a few meets/shows with sport next year.:thumb:

Back arches are a night mare like but I'd know what to do the next time so maybe it'd be easier :)
