OK not much progress, but the cage is repainted matt black:

Suspension and steering gear has been loosely bolted/cable tied in place to make it a rolling shell again. First time off axle stands in about 6 months?!

Front wings have been seam sealered where they have been rolled:

Guessing he's thinking along the lines that it's easier to mask up the cage than an entire shell?

Figured masking up a cage is easier than masking up a whole car when it's done! lol

Masking a cage isnt easy!

monster truck novas FTW. all you got to do now is make the rear wheels turn with the front. haha

why not paint the cage the same colour as the shell? no masking...
