It was too low, was easier to force the jack under it. Also the axle stands are a bit rough on it i know.
Good idea that Paul, i ****ing hate mine for slipping off the jacks at that point as it's all gone manky over time/repeated jacking etc..

I keep thinking of welding over the chassis bits too, as mines been jacked up badly in the past. Beautiful welding there too.
Yeh, it is a good idea, it strengthens it up for future jacking, makes it look nicer, and also when you weld the plate , your acually adding quite a lot of strength cause its putting a proper box section over two seperate bits of chassis, that are otherwise only joined with 6 spot welds.Quote:
