*Update.
So MOT prep. Not a great start - ive pre-occupied my little free time as it is with buying an ebay shed as new daily hack..

I needed it. The non-vaux i was using before was just making me go mad, it was deeply crap, so this is slightly less crap. 67K, 2 owners, small block 1.8 won for £285. Needs idle sorting, windscreen and tyres for MOT. Im getting alloys (vaux. ones) @ weekend.. then sort the rest after.
Anyway, the nova.. mot.. for pv..
Ive mainly been doing those odd jobs i couldnt get round to doing before.. mainly tidying/sorting.. legalities i guess..

Ive relocated the 'catch-tank' and 'attached' it so it doesnt move about - much better there, bit more hidden - shows the 'box off a bit again.

I then sorted the wiring loom/bulkhead area that tbh has been a bit 'overflowing bin' look to it. Much better now.

Finished, in fact. Mounted the two amplifiers all properly.

I have finally sorted the lark with the rad fan output from the mbe.
I still ran the '89 carb - spec. non-relay'd fan wiring setup. So there is no existing relay to go to. So im going to make one. I work @ electronics place no so no excuse, lol. I have diagrams and may do one of those 'how to guides' as many nova owners up grading to stand-alone will need to do this.
Once thats in and sorted i can go MOT. Fingers crossed with the emmisions lol.

Air filter has been on order, was expecting it today but told tommorow/monday latest. Its a proper decent single/sausage type, pipercross 600 thing..
Tho these will go on the car after MOT.

Looking sweet Dave, glad to see it's come on good, and do a guide on using the fan via mbe, as i would love to use my mbe to operate mine.

Can you 'send' the fan a signal, with laptop hooked up, to test..? MBE.
Booked for MOT tuesday morning.
Just gotta jack up the ride height a bit and its ready. Hoping for an adam lol.

*Update..
Nearly an adam, but not quite. Failed (badly) just on emmisions. Theyre sky high. So hoping, last chance saloon for PV (as well as need the gear linkage sorting yet) to turn the fuelling down even more mechanically and electronically ourselves in the next couple of days for a friday re-test.
Only then it might make it sunday.

cheers, as said it will look like that again one day..
it doesnt look likely at the minute mate; you have to be an 'expert' to get these standalone things to work lol..
