Good to see some progress. The actuator looks like its seen its best - VHT paint wont last long so prob not worth doing.

yeah the actuator deffo looks a bit crusty and it's probably a lot worse. Will be on the look out for a replacement. Is it worth going for an 'uprated' one?

May just do the VHT so it looks clean. If it burns off then it burns off. Just hate seeing it look manky. I think I've got Benn-itis! lol

lol at the corsa bit and if your going uprated it all depends on what amount of bhp your wanting to run and isit worth spending more than an original would be

At the moment I"m not looking at any further BHP increase. All I'm thinking about is getting it all done and to drive it. Can I buy an uprated one and use it with it's standard power?

I guess it also depends on cost. If I can buy an uprated one for not much more than a standard one but it works better or handles more power then it may be worth doing.

i spoke to these people when i was down santa pod for some show, they said there very high quality and have had them running on phase 3. which if you wanted to go bigger power then you got the option.

which ive heard is great for higher boost levels. in the link it does state you can use it for standard or higher boost rates.

From the description they can both be used for standard and higher boost. Although there is a fair price difference. It'll probably cost as much as the TX one to buy a standard one new if not more expensive so it looks like a no brainer tbh.

Only just about plodding along Southie. Any plans made will be after the completion of it so at the moment with it being in bits I've not thought about it.
