no offence martin but those rad mounts look really gash. b+q sell flat 3/4 inch bar in metre lengths, that would have been better.

Get yourself some aluminium angle iron now an make some proper tidy brackets from that?
Ala: (altho not a rad mount but you get the idea)

flat bar, top ones just need 2 L shaped bits, fitted upside down if that makes sense, due to the tickness its strong enough to hold it.
also id have fixed them under the slam panel for neat ness.
As above, i too saw them mounts and thought No....
I mean they just look out of place, simple L brackets would look better mate.
Scott
i have a good idea martin, let me do a pic in a bit mate :)
reminds me of the titanic, started so well, then ended in tears :(
Deffo need changing, sharp edges in a engine bay is a bad idea, when working on it of course.
et voila:

rubber bush the end on the bodywork, using fuel pump bushes.
meh...
AW06. i need to clean them up, from their current state so there is less excess and no sharp edges.
baxter. great
Mike. im not sure what that is, but it looks weak as anything, and the holes are not swaged so they actually make the item weaker, and as rob said, it needs to be L shaped.
Rob, thanks for the ideas. but the thick flat stuff, would it not fatigue under the bend.
and also rob, thats not a bad idea for the placement of the brackets, but im not sure what i would do on the side...
