Glad you all liked it, hopefully it wont get changed too much before it hits the road.
novarallychris - the only other nova i see up here regularly is a silk violet GSi with clear rear lamps, no idea what the reg is though.

Really nice mate I just read the whole thread and I love the car - your attention to detail was spot on aswell.
But what I cant understand is after spending so much time and money on it and it being 95 percent complete wouldnt you have rather just finshed it off to see it done? Now someone else is going to take most of the credit for all of your hard work? Seems a shame :-(
I also have them but need a good resrayQuote:

my other half would do anything to get rid of mine but the escort she likes
awesome story, clearly meant to be then..
never got a firenza in the end..?
I'm all warm and fuzzy inside now!
in the end......no. I got as far as puting deposit on it, hooking up the trailer to go get it, only to find it was much, much, MUCH worse than the photos he'd sent over. And as he wasnt willing to budge on price it was a no - go.Quote:

To be honest mate, its pretty much the same. A few small things, the sparco carbon gear knob isnt there, its missing the bonnet lifters, theres no bulbs in any of the lamps (weird!!) and its just generally manky, covered in dust but its 99% the car i sold.Quote:

was gutted to see her going as many projects never finish
then read on to see your gf bought it back for you (lucky ****er)
the nova looks wicked dude good job it didnt go to c chav
Day off today so ive done a little bit (only doing things which dont cost me any money)
So, got it all jacked up and on stands, bumper off, grille off, lights out, bonnet off and wings off. Started cleaning up the inner arches ready to paint them red (currently done black) going to paint all the front panel (which is mint) then treat the inside of the wings and seal where theyve been rolled.
While the bonnet is off im going to sort a tiny wee low spot where the ive put the vents in as well.
Spoke to my father in law and im going to get the new cills (it barely needs them) welded on later in the month along with the new rear arches then i can start the body work.
oh fun and games.
Sorry if its been covered.
But what make, and size are the wheels?
Any scrubbage issues?
