I had a simpson and i can vouch for the quality!
Is it an off the shelf job or do they actually make systems? I could do with one like above but rather go under the sump head off 90deg towards the gearbox.
forgotten about this thread in a while,.. had no idea such a spec had been reached, damn brave, skillfull..
whens a nova not a nova innit really.
Im unsure as it was on the engine already. they will build you one to your design or design one for you.Quote:

Everything Simpson do is custom built as far as I am aware. They are very well thought of in racing, check out their website;Quote:

Buying a house sucks. No point owning 2 ongoing project Nova's when you have a killer mortgage. One day though... Anyway, enough moaning about myself.
Ste, killer wip going on here. I just read through the whole thread and had to get the Kleenex out. Damn, I'm ready for a shower now. ;-)
Will definitely keep my eyes on this!
Niek
im lost which nova you keeping? how much for the lump? haha jk
whats your other nova?
you'd be a muppet to sell it at this stage.
dnt worry simps, ive skim read lollol
:)
if you sell superman might be coming back as the best heroe :roll:lollol
Would be a big shame to sell but if needs must then that's that.
One of my favourite and most interesting builds on here.
Buy a caravan or rent ;)
What do you mean coming back? :confused:Quote:

Not too sure on the sink, think that might be over hanging to much, this could effect the handling!
wow £100+ on a toaster!
Tasteful :gay:lol
That looks great.
Prefer the Nova though!
Ste have you kept the engine roughly in its original position? Great build by the way.
Yeah unfortunatley. Would of liked to get it lower but shaft angles would of been silly due to the car only sitting 2" from the floor.
It is however 3" further back which should help a little.
Ta for the reply, could you not have countered the shaft angles by lowering the suspension pick up points with it being totally bespoke? Or is literally just to low?!
F****ng hell. I knew you were building something nice, but hadnt realised it was that spank-worthy.
Cool project.
No worries. Lowering the suspension mounting points where? Sorry if im being a bit thick lolQuote:

this car sets the standard for any track going car
top work to you and all who helped with the build:thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb:
Thats correct:thumb:Quote:

Tilted the engine forwards or rotated the gear box forward to move the drive shaft to gearbox entrance point upwards therefore leveling off the shaft angle.

Yeah think ive read that before. They rotated the box on the bellhousing. Did they run a starter?Quote:
