Today I started stripping car. Engine is now out! Anyone want a 1.4 NV :)
Checked it was still in the garage where I left it. Was going to clean it but MR2 was filthy so did that instead.
Cleaned up the slam panel that I cut off another shell.
And I might weld it on later

Nice! Plenty of room around it to move
Cheers :thumb: been hard work and costly. But I've done everything myself with the help of the mrs's Dad And a couple of mates
It's still not finished either!
That's a bloody good size. Very lucky.
Painted some sealant on, rebuild and cleaned my coilover.
Painted the speed lines Grey same as bumpers putting them tomorrow to see if I like them or not..
I just welded on my slam panel but I'm not really happy with it
Put on a different suspension/shocks and wheels, I have a cold so was totally knackered and haven't bothered testing it, closed the garage and came in!
Went mad with rust killer today and found that the O/S/F inner wing is rotting :( (I've been trying to avoid looking). also sprayed a couple of dings and chips on the bodywork
Today I fitted my carbon fibre scuttle cover from Chris at CMComposites. I then swapped my MOMO wheel for my flocked GSI wheel which was done by Prey. I then changed my fuel filter and changed over my header tank and filled it up with antifreeze (a bit late I know but oh well!)

Liam, make sure you have something under the carbon if it sits on the battery. As it can catch fire.

So much more grip, cant wait for Brands now. :d
Are they ds2500 pads? If so how do you find them?
They seem ok, didn't really hammer them though. Brands will be a good test.
Lmao @ meritlover, i had to look twice as id not seen the tyres on the roof lol
Damn you hotbit, i wants them wheels
I struck up the td and left it ticking over an hour to warm it up and demist it!
The OZ's, i love them, are they 15's?
What size are your white ones anyways?
Both OZ both15's both et38.
Only bought the silver ones as it was cheaper than getting tyres on the white ones :wtf:
Also got some OZ Rallye's and my cesaro's wrapped in slicks.
Donna said I need to get rid of a set. So getting rid of the steels on the van. lol
Ahhh, too small for the disastra, for some reason i was thinking the white ones were 17s lol
gave the car a well deserved wash then the builders next door got dust all over it
3 fifths of FCUK all, well contemplated selling/breaking it
this weather and my job do not go hand in hand with getting stuff done, that or im a lazy useless thosser lol
gave the garage a good clean out, preped the engine bay gave some areas a good going over with high build primer, tommorow i will be masking up and repainting the engine bay satin black (again)
one day there will be a engine in there and not just paint and thin air!
Tried pushing it out the way
I actually did a bit of work to mine tonight started to get the engine ready to be removed so I can start work on the bay
Done handbreak turns and donuts in the snow, also had to take it down some back roads on the way home so i rgged it like a rally car
a fair bit for me lol, managed to find all the wheel bolts i lost but in turn lost my bag full of bolt/screws that hold every last peice of body to the car
im sure i will find them somewhere but will proberly lose something as soon as i do find them lol
tried and failed to start it lol
A bit busy with another project at the moment.....
