i think your gonna get pulled the first time you take it out... looks dodgy as feck IMO.
would have been better if you just used the loon backend. an plated the big hole up like they do with the trailers, then used the loon boot as a bbq.

Love it btw :)
To keep the noseweight down Paul, due to the axle being set further back we needed to keep the front end weight down, and you know how much the glass in a tailgate weighs!Quote:

i once had a sort of a race against a tuned up reliant. i was cat & mousing him up to ninety (seriously), he had it lowered & with a passenger in, it was surprisingly well balanced.. then i got bored of him and floored it & buggered offQuote:

What about putting a bump strip down the door and the strip on that?
I did think the same but if it's at an angle it will look :tard:Quote:

I hate side bump strips so thats a no, but i will try something tomorrow that may work, we'll see :)
Seeing as you posted this on someone elses trailer thread, pray tell why this hasn't been done properly? i take it you are some kind of structural engineer and I have made a cataclysmic error, so for god sake please tell me before i cause a horrific accident.Quote:

I saw the same and thought it was a bit of a handbags moment... Looks cracking to me and probably far beyond my own abilities, at least to knock it up as quick as you have!
i see no problems  top work :thumb:
Meh, i dont usually rise to stuff, but i'm fecked if i'm having a little scrote who's barely out of school telling me i've done something improperly. Grinds my gears that does.Quote:

Even after all the box section ive put in, im still not 100% sure that its going to work. I think i worry abit to much though.
I think yours looks great and alot more imagination has gone into it than mine.
Great Work!
Good good, didn't want to have to get my handbag out too lolQuote:

Yeah i think im just playing on the cautious side. Ive even bolted the main beam through the trailer as well as welding it.
What did you about the rear suspension on yours? Ive but spring clamps in to bring the height down. It sat so high due to lack of weight.
80mm rear springs on this I believe :thumb:
