Looking good Scott! Gotta be hard not to be tempted to modify it a little bit?
looks good mate, good work!!
looking good scott
Once the missis has had her fun i may go full SR rep,as always wanted a Jamaica SR, but would possibly put a LET in, or stay standard looking with coilovers/some cav expression's and let for street sleeper, but this is all ifs and buts lolQuote:

And Cheers to everyone who's commented on how good it's looking, cant wait to get it mint and show it at billing, for me it's the originality of the interior that makes the car special to me. :d
Scott
id totally forgot about this pal!! just read start to finish looking mint now chap!
Looking good Scott. A good read.
definatly looking good mate :thumb:
Well i Finally have the car back now, it's almost finished need to re-stick a rear rubbing strip on and fiddle with the seat at the weekend, then it's onto the other things. :)

Looks good, it's sat how high at the front though? is that +30mm? lol
Dude thats due to the parking position, hath on the drive, hath on the path etc..
Humm Cant sleep, just thinking, body colored wheel arches, or black/gray stone chip/underseal?
if it's all original styled black/grey imo
Id of said do them body colour, but since its a light colour youll have to wash it all the time.
Do the arches in Black IMO.
It does need some mudflaps & those 13'' 3 spokes from an early GL.
Not the biggest fan of the colour but each to there own
If it was each to their own, Scott would have chosen to spray it that colour. As it is, the colour you see is the 80's shade of puke Vauxhall sold it with. You will see a lot of dodgy colours on this forum where original 80's Nova models are still prime, unmolested condition. :pQuote:

I'd say a nice black colour mate - Keep it as original as you can and that way no-one will know it's had work done to it :)
Black for me also
I would consider putting a set of 3 spokes on there too
lol Apart from everyone that read this thread then..?Quote:

Aye but folk local who don't go online lol Let's be serious, there the people who see the car the mostQuote:

IMO that's where it matters, not so much about people online looking at pics!
Nice car BTW :)
I'm not a fan of slamming cars on the deck, but that really needs lowering (or a big install). :dQuote:

Scott
so it's wrong to say it would look great with coilovers and a set of RSL cult's? lol
it looks great, jamaica yellow and china blue are the best mk1 colours imo.
scott my 1983 has colour coded wheel arches from factory
wow!! great work
Nice nice !!

That is lovely, looks very original and it isnt obvious that it has been painted.
excellent mate, bet you're well happy with it, I'd have to say black stone chip as well, my boss always does that on all the cars he paints, some people just leave it with the overspray marks like yours has lol
I think the black will give it a good contrast.
lovely progress Scott looks top notch :thumb:
Hopefully when i get my arches done the jobs as good as this one :)
now wheres the LET :d lol
Yea looks nice that now scott you should keep it as it is as vaughan said people will look and think thats been well looked after.:thumb:
Damo.
