even with Jays outstanding reputation and perfectionism, his results and welding still amazes me, every single time. :DQuote:

As for the removable slam panel - its the done thing with LETs, give much easier access to the important stuff.

Looking good. Loving that exh manifold
Dark grey rocker and red spark plug cover. That gives me an idear as a colour sceam for next year maybe lol.
Keep up the good work.
(Leaves for the loo with the box of tissues) lol.
If i may ask and you dont mind saying, how much did the light covers coast?
Engine looks a beaut!
PS: bit off topic, so is it worth fitting bigger injectors if runing say a mapable ecu?
Scott
very nice , manifold is pure sex
loving the mirror image engines lol
bigger injectors needed if going over 280-300bhp imo
why is it everyone says dont do work to a clean n rust free shell?
i would have thought do it to a clean n rust free shell then you dont need to worry about it rotting or collapsing under the c20let f28's weight,
if anyone can let me into a logical explanation to put my mind at rest please do,
Fair enough some mint original shells should stay original but I'd only say that about an old SR or GSi or something
But a mint 1.0 base model shell is absolutely ripe for a bigger engine :)
Top work fella!
thanks for the comments
the shell imo was perfect for what i planned it was the lowest spec - a 1.0
a gsi gte sr etc are worth keeping standard nothing else is imo, but i paid the money to buy the car, its my car i shall do with it what i please, if i had found a gsi or gte in the same condition for the same money i wouldve probably done the same
i wanted the best shell i could find it just happened to be a base model
Your quite right mate :) Be as well starting with a good car to make a better one
did a bit on the nova today :D
