I almost expected a Cat engine earlier in the threads but have to say the engine you have purchased does look a proper tool . Fair play mate. i may have to get me **** in gear for a bit of spectating once some of you lads have got your cars all back together.

only thing id look at changing on the engine would be to swap over to an electric water pump, other than thats thats an awesome find!

Hi Will:) Yeah this projects part of the site works a treat and seems to get everybody on the go - it gave me the itch to get going although i admit my old bones resist the thought of a cold workshop. No doubt with all the other excellent cars being sorted there will a fair bit going on during the year.

We measured the positive caster and fully forward its 7 degrees so we'll back it off somewhatlol

The next mod to be attempted will be camber. We've got a fair bit on already but we are going to try and move the top mount in and back to the centre of the car. Not too sure exactly the best way to do this yet but we've a had a few ideas tonight that we need to sleep on to refine into a more elegant solution. (if thats possible with my usual tools, a sledgehammer, a lump hammer and the oxy-acetylenelol )

For those of us without a plasma cutter you can try the old skool flame cut appraoch. The nozzle to use is the thin sheet steel one on the left

This is dragged along the surface of the steel and is specifically designed to give a small flame and narrow cut on sheet steel
