lotus carlton powered nova, rumour? true?

Aye, same as the good old 911 conversion, much like jamie olivers camper. They're all made of chocolate though, despite sounding nice, pistons lying down has always been a stupid idea lol

I think thats why i respect Porsche so much tbh. They took a flat 4 engine (bad idea), cooled it with air (stupid idea) and hung it over the back (even worse idea), and instead of giving up because it was one of the worst cars on the planet, they persevered, and now the 911 is one of the best handling cars with one of the best engines you csan buy, and its still an air cooled flat 4 hanging over the back.

OH COME ON a 911 is car porn, it is not a real everyday car.....
It gets sold to rich wideboys or old codgers.
we have to take their word that it handles great & for the price they charge, the damn thing ought to.
Even Porsche brought out the 928 as a replacement because they thought the original 911 was dated, but people just kept buying the 911s...

lolA 911's are still not 'great' handling cars and 99% of the people who own them can't drive them to anywhere near their limit. However that 1% make the things dance, which is beautiful to watch. They have got sooooo much better in recent years due to Porsche fine tuning them.

I also beg to differ on the everyday car comment as well. They are very good and reliable cars. Therefore they are used as everyday cars by shed loads of people.

what a c*ck so because someone i know had an immensly powered scooby, when he wrote it off it meant he must of smashed the front end up, errm no he lost control and wrapped the car round a pole nearly splitting it in half, but i suppose if you had a 3.6 litre twin turbo rear wheel drive super car there would be no chance of going into a spin would there:roll:
