I wanted the pipes in hammerite black. They didn't have any. I thought, "which colour would Graeme dislike the most". So I went for pink. It matches your makeup. lol

Been busy today.
First of all, a MASSIVE thanks to Stupot for giving me a hand. :thumb:
And a big thanks to Mark @ MCD Vaux for using his ramps.
Sorted out the mystery EML fault, turned out to be the knock sensor.

As some of you know, i had a slight problem on the way home from the NE meet in Scarborough.
Took the box off this morning..
We took it off and found shed loads of metal filings on the inside of it..
Took the clutch off, to find the splined housing, in the center of the clutch had totally eaten itself..
So, it took another 2 hour hunt on a bank holiday to find a clutch.
Just in the middle of putting it back together..
Pics to follow.. :thumb:
Good progress, What is the handling like with both ARB's?
Shame about the box, was it a f20?
Ahh, so this is why the nw gayys have been ringing me?Quote:

The handling is miles better with the ARB's..
I was in a panic for a box last night, it is my daily. So i bought a F20 . We were convinced it was the diff. It was running a F16
Closer inspection revealed it was the clutch like i said earlier.
So we put the F20 instead.. I can abuse it more now.

Got extremely peed off with it, so only have a finished pic.
Been out in it and it feels miles better with the 20 instead of the 16.

That looks like a clutch for a flat type flywheel and on the picture of your car it has a pot type flywheel.
How did you make that work or did you only use the friction plate out of the new kit?
Lee, you have eyes like a ****e house rat..
Your correct..
We had to use half the existing stuff. :thumb:
